Molokini is a crochet motif lace shawl in Quince and Co.'s Chickadee. It is worked in square and triangle motifs that are joined as they are being made, so no seaming is required to make this piece. A diagram is provided, showing how to assemble the pieces. A simple one-row trim is added along the longest edge when all pieces have been joined together.

Yarn:
  • Shown in Quince & Co.'s Chickadee (100% American wool; 50 gram hank = approx 181 yards) 2 (4, 6) hanks in color 105 Glacier, or approx 360 (715, 1055) yards in a comparable earth-friendly yarn.
    • Needles:
  • One size US H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook.
    • Other Materials:
  • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
