Goodale is named after the street that we were on in Columbus, Ohio where Melissa LaBarre took these lovely photos. It is knit from the top down with raglan shaping an i-cord edging and simple folded over pockets.
Yarn:
Pashmina by Madelinetosh (75% superwash merino, 15% silk, 10% cashmere; 1 hank = approx 360 yards)
2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4) hanks Composition Book Grey
Approx yards needed: 580 (640, 720, 770, 855, 935, 1010, 1080, 1160)
Needles:
One set double pointed needles (dpns) size US 5 (3.25 mm). (For sleeve rib trim and i-cord closure for buttons)
One circular 29” size US 7 (4.5 mm). (Piece is worked back and forth, circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of sts)
Other Materials:
Stitch markers
Large stitch holders or waste yarn
Tapestry needle
Two 7/8” buttons
Sizes:
31.5 (34, 38, 41.25, 45.25, 49.25, 52.5, 55.5, 58.75)” bust circumference.
Gauge:
20 sts and 30 rows = 4” over Stockinette Stitch with larger needles. Take time to save time, check your gauge.
