Brooklet is a versatile long cowl in 2 colors that may be worn long and open, wrapped twice around the neck, or folded and looped through.

It is worked in one piece in the round in stockinette stitch in one color for the inside then continued in the round in a simple lace pattern in a second color for the outside.

Yarn:
  • Bugga! from The Sanguine Gryphon (70% superwash merino, 20% cashmere, 10% nylon; 4 oz hank = 412 yds)
  • 1 hank color (grays) Starry Night Cracker (Color A), 1 hank color (teals) Tulip Tree Beauty (Color B)
  • Needles:
  • One 29” circular size US 5 (3.75 mm).
  • One 29” circular size US 6 (4 mm). Or size to obtain gauge.
  • Other Materials:
  • Stitch marker (m).
  • One extra needle US 6 (4 mm) for Three Needle Bind Off.
  • Tapestry needle, for weaving in ends.
  • Sizes:
    One Size: 52 1/4 ” circumference by 6 1/4 ” high, after blocking.
    Gauge:
    20 sts and 32 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch with larger needles. Take time to save time, check your gauge.
