Big Rib Scarf

This is a neck warmer big enough to go for a scarf. It knits up very quickly in an interesting fisherman's rib stitch that looks like big 1x1 ribs! And it goes well with the Big Rib Hat!

Yarn:
  • Knit Picks Swish Worsted (110 yards/50g), about 100 yards of EACH color A (shown in Cornmeal) and color B (shown in Marble Heather).
  • Needles:
  • US size 8 (5mm), or other size to obtain gauge
  • Other Materials:
  • 2 stitch holders
  • Tapestry needle to weave in the ends
  • Sizes:
    5 in / 13 cm in width and 29 in / 74 cm in length, not stretched
    Gauge:
    20 sts and 26 rows in stockinette stitch, and 20 sts and 42 rows in Fisherman’s Rib (not stretched) - with needles US size 8 (5 mm) make a 4 in (10 cm) square
